CHRISTY NG COLLABORATES WITH HELLO KITTY TO CREATE AN ADORABLE LIMITED-EDITION COLLECTION

Malaysian fashion designer Christy Ng partners with Hello Kitty for a limited-edition, Hello Kitty- themed collection. The collection is the ultimate nod to nostalgic fashion, fusing the whimsical charm of Hello Kitty with a  young and fun aesthetic. Designs will be revealed every week of September, with the final design dropping on 30th Sept.

Malaysia-based fashion brand Christy Ng has collaborated with Hello Kitty to design a limited-edition collection. This is the first time that the two brands have joined forces to offer a unique collection that includes a wide range of items such as grocery totes, wallets, lanyards and pouches.

“We believe in being bold, brave and true to one’s self. The collection aims to inspire confidence in everyone who has chosen to wear them — the ultimate nod to nostalgic fashion, fusing the whimsical charm of Hello Kitty with a young and fun aesthetic.” says Christy Ng.

Reflecting Christy’s youthful yet classy style, it is made of durable materials in fun colors that are quintessentially playful. Each item is crafted from their premium cotton canvas and features the iconic Sanrio styled prints in an adorable silhouette. Christy Ng has also chosen to unveil one new print for each week of September, with each drop boasting 3 items of different sizes. The list of available items are as follows:

  • 1st Drop (Monogram Series): Grocery tote, Mini grocery tote and lanyard.
  • 2nd Drop (Basic Series): Grocery tote, Mini grocery tote and pouch.
  • 3rd Drop (Kitty Town): Grocery tote, Mini grocery tote and wallet.

4th Drop (Patchwork): Grocery tote, Mini grocery tote and card holder.

The collection is also eco-conscious, Christy Ng has always tried to minimize their carbon footprint through production and the quality of their products — making sure the product stays used and not in a landfill for as long as possible.
