Château Saint-Martin & Spa, part of the Oetker Hotels collection, has chosen Maison Godet to create its signature fragrance. Two prestigious luxury brands, each with its own expertise, come together around a shared geographical and artistic heritage.
From the heights of its preserved gardens, the landscape and the light captivated the great masters of modern painting, such as Marc Chagall and Henri Matisse. Under their gaze, the place took on a French elegance, becoming an irresistible retreat. In the middle of the last century, Maison Godet delicately perfumed the muses of the masters. The property, meanwhile, has been reborn as an exceptional hotel within the former Commanderie.
The fragrance created by the talented perfumer Sonia Godet draws its inspiration from the gardens. In the invigorating top notes, grapefruit, bergamot, and lemon leaf highlight the vitality of the flora, the strength of the building and the quest of rejuvenation inspired by the Spa by La Prairie. One must then wander quietly through the paths of L’Eau du Château to fully enter its poetic and sensual world. It is a quiet poetry of open landscapes overlooking the Mediterranean, of intimate alcoves adorned with peonies and intoxicating jasmine. At its heart, like a hidden treasure, blooms the radiant freshness of a soft, powdery orange rose, exalted by the morning dew.
