The 911 GT3 S/C is defined by its ultimate motorsport spirit, perfectly balanced with everyday practicality. With stick shift and a high-revving engine, it combines maximum dynamics with endless fun-to-drive. Its high-revving, naturally aspirated engine and uncompromising lightweight design make the 911 GT3 S/C the lightest, most dynamic open 911, embodying pure motorsport DNA on track and street alike. Its horological twin: the 911 GT3 S/C Chronograph. Born from a joint development with the car, the two are inseparably linked.

Consistent lightweight construction

Lightweight construction does not automatically mean minimalism. True to the 911 GT3 S/C, the accompanying chronograph embodies Porsche’s distinctive approach to lightweight design: the case and pushers are available in either glass bead-blasted titanium or titanium with black titanium carbide coating. The same applies to the bezel, which is available with a pulsometer, tachymeter or minute scale.

Motorsport design for the wrist with customisation options

A distinctive design feature is the GT dial, developed specifically for the 911 GT3 chronograph, with its characteristic hexagonal pattern that echoes the hexagonal air intakes on the car. The GT dial and the optionally available “RS” dial in a carbon-like look also echo the lightweight design aesthetic. Both versions are protected by a sapphire crystal with sevenfold anti-reflective coating on both sides and a highly scratch-resistant hard coating. The clean design of the indices, a yellow ring, and black rhodium-plated hour and minute hands with Super-LumiNova® coating ensure optimal readability. This design is echoed on the 911 GT3 S/C’s instrument panel, as the Sport Chrono GT module—developed by Porsche Design for the Porsche GT models—mirrors the chronograph’s aesthetic. The look of the tachometer and the sporty totaliser at 6 o’clock are also perfectly aligned. The chronograph hands are available in Performance (white), Essence (black), and GT (yellow). Matching the vehicle paint, the colour ring around the dial is available in all 911 GT3 S/C exterior colours as well as the shades from the “Paint to Sample” programme. Further references to motorsport and the home of the 911 GT3 S/C are found in the small seconds at 9 o’clock, featuring the “911 GT3” lettering, a checkered-flag design, and the inscription “Born in Flacht”—the location of the Porsche Development Center.

High-performance on the inside. “Street Style” on the outside

The case back, made of sevenfold anti-reflective, hard-coated sapphire crystal, reveals the Porsche Design calibre WERK 01.200 with COSC certification and flyback function. It allows a running timing measurement to be stopped, reset and restarted instantly at the push of a button. The standout feature, both technically and visually, is the “911 GT3 S/C Rotor”, precisely modelled on the car’s wheel design and available in Brilliant Silver, Dark Silver, California Gold, and Black (satin finish). It is completed with the black rotor cap with the two-tone Porsche crest. The arch housing the sapphire crystal is crafted from glass bead-blasted titanium or titanium with a black titanium carbide coating and can be personalised with a laser engraving of up to twelve characters. Owners of the 911 GT3 S/C with the Street Style Package are furthermore entitled to exclusive, specially designed highlights. The Package embodies a look that stands out from the norm, distinguished by the sleek, contemporary pared-down contour of the Porsche crest. In Pyro Red, it not only gives the wheel hub covers a distinctive touch but also enhances the chronograph’s rotor cap.

Personalisation with character

The strap also offers a variety of options for personalisation. Made from genuine Porsche vehicle leather and stitching, it can be customised to match the configuration of the car’s interior. An optional “GT3” embossing at 6 o’clock reinforces the link between the sports car and the timepiece. The calfskin leather straps with a double-folding titanium clasp (matching the case finish) are available in three sizes and can be easily exchanged thanks to the quick-change mechanism. In addition, Porsche Design offers a titanium bracelet with a fine adjustable titanium folding clasp, available in case-matching finishes: glass-bead blasted or black titanium carbide-coated. Exclusively for owners of the 911 GT3 S/C with Street Style Package, there is a matching two-tone leather strap in Guards Red and Slate Grey. If desired, this leather strap can also feature a “GT3” embossing at 6 o’clock.

“With this product upgrade, the Audi Q4 e-tron is not only more modern and striking in appearance but also impresses with an improved interior,” says Marco Schubert, Member of the Board of Management for Sales and Marketing. “New features and numerous improvements to the vehicle make the electric entry point into the Audi brand even more attractive – for families and our fleet customers.

The Q4 e-tron is the first Audi model to support bidirectional charging – its high-voltage battery can both receive energy from the grid and feed it back to external devices. For example, the Vehicle-to-Load (V2L) function allows e-bikes to be charged from a power socket in the trunk or via an adapter on the charging port. In Germany, Austria, and Switzerland, the Q4 e-tron can also serve as a home battery supplying stored energy to the household through Vehicle-to-Home (V2H). This is especially beneficial for optimising self-consumption from solar panels.

In everyday life, customers reap the benefits of significant upgrades to the EV’s drive systems. Thanks to an even more efficient electric motor, for example, the enhanced Q4 Sportback e-tron performance now offers up to 592 kilometres of range.

A leap in comfort and flexibility awaits customers in the all-new interior, which is also optionally available in the S line. The heart of the spacious cabin is the digital stage: a panoramic display with an 11.9″ instrument cluster and a 12.8″ MMI touch display keeps everything in clear view. An optional 12″ passenger display with a customisable standby design completes the setup. With new One Connected Infotainment, Audi is enhancing comfort and entertainment functions. The intelligent Audi assistant controls vehicle functions via voice command and can answer questions about the logbook. Thanks to ChatGPT integration, occupants can query information and interact naturally with the car. Comfort and ambiance are further enhanced by dynamic interaction lighting, a new centre console, and two cooled inductive charging trays, each with 15 watts of power. The Softwrap, with its large application area spanning from the doors across the entire width of the dashboard, creates a cohesive, premium sense of space. Vertical air vents accentuate the width of the cockpit.

Audi has also taken the lighting to the next level: up front, digital LED daytime running lights with segmented technology create digital light signatures for instant recognition, selectable through the MMI. Second-generation digital OLED rear lights significantly improve safety and functionality while also making a bold design statement. In addition, the optional proximity lighting warns other road users when they get too close.

Even more efficient drive

Whether rear-wheel drive or quattro all-wheel, all Audi Q4 e-tron models feature a permanently excited synchronous motor (PSM) in one of two power variants on the rear axle, ensuring high efficiency. The new “APP350” electric motor incorporates a number of efficiency-enhancing measures and thus ensures increased range and more torque in the Q4 e-tron and Q4 e-tron quattro.

The update to the electric motor also introduces newly developed power electronics. The pulse inverter uses silicon carbide semiconductors, which reduce switching losses and improve efficiency, especially under partial load. In addition, new software functions optimize consumption. Advanced modulation techniques better leverage DC voltage for more power even at lower charge levels. Overall, efficiency has improved by around ten percent versus the previous model.

The transmission is also more efficient. Newly engineered low-viscosity lubricant reduces friction losses while remaining highly resilient. Especially in cold weather, this new lubricant alone can extend range by up to twelve kilometres with a fully charged battery.

Dynamic and cohesive: the exterior

On the outside, the Q4 e-tron* now looks more modern and expressive: short front overhangs, large wheels, a broad stance, and muscular side panels create dynamic proportions. The centrepiece of its high, upright front is the Singleframe, now colour-matched to the body. The S line variant adds vertical blades in Selenite silver matte to the corners of the front and rear bumpers. In conjunction with the black exterior package, the blades are finished in high-gloss
Mythos black.

In addition, functional air intakes reduce drag by channelling airflow around the front wheels. Special wing elements in the bumper accentuate width and create a fully cohesive look.

On the Q4 SUV e-tron, a roof edge spoiler caps the D pillar. A black accent strip running the length of the roof visually separates the rear roof from the body, giving the impression it’s floating – a detail that further underscores the car’s dynamic presence. Horizontal lines at the rear amplify its visual width, making it look higher and more upright. A newly contoured rear spoiler makes the SUV more aerodynamic, and a redesigned, high-set diffuser adds a sporty finish. Three new exterior colours and five new wheel designs are available for customisation.

Practical and spacious: the interior

At the heart of the cabin is the driver-oriented digital stage. Its centrepiece is the panoramic display, pairing an 11.9″ instrument cluster and a 12.8″ MMI touch display with large tiles for a quick overview of features and services. For the first time in this segment, an optional 12″ passenger display is also available – the largest ever in an Audi, featuring a customisable standby design. Without the passenger display, premium decorative surfaces enhance the appearance of this area. For even more intuitive orientation, the Q4 e-tron* can be equipped with an optional augmented reality head-up display. This projects information onto the windshield in two layers: in the AR layer, turn arrows from the navigation system, starting points and destinations, and prompts from selected assist systems appear in the appropriate position on top of the real environment. These elements look like they’re floating around 10 meters ahead of the driver, or further depending on the situation. From the driver’s perspective, the field of view for AR content spans a diagonal of approximately 70 inches. Below this, the status layer shows speed, traffic signs, and assistance and navigation icons, visually placed around three meters ahead of the driver.

The clearly structured dashboard amplifies the sense of space. Vertical air vents frame the dash and visually link to the low-profile, integrated door handles. There are four easily accessible charging options for smartphones: two cooled inductive charging trays (up to 15 watts each) and two USB-C ports under the centre armrest. Two additional USB-C ports are optionally available in the rear.

When it comes to space, the Q4 e-tron delivers what used to be reserved for full-size SUVs: airy up front, plenty of legroom in the back – made possible by the technical basis designed as an electric platform. In total, the model offers around 25 litres of storage in various compartments. Everyday utility is underscored by the 515-liter trunk (up to 1,487 litres with the rear seats folded down) and increased trailer load of 1,800 kilograms. The nose weight is 75 kilograms.

Details such as cushioned knee pads, premium stitching, and scratch-resistant surfaces further enhance the interior. The rising centre console seamlessly connects the dashboard to the rear seats and creates a sporty character. The optional plus and pro ambient lighting packages set the mood after dark. White ambient lighting comes as standard. Marker lights accentuate the lines of the dash and centre console. Optionally, dynamic interaction lighting below the windshield enhances the atmosphere and improves usability and safety. A Sonos premium sound system is also available. Sport seats come as standard. Third-party apps are accessible directly through the Audi Application Store in the MMI – no smartphone required. Many vehicle functions can be controlled via the intelligent Audi assistant: the AI-powered voice assistant is fully integrated into the car and represented by an icon in the head-up display or the Audi virtual cockpit. Recognised inputs are also shown in the instrument display. The Audi Q4 e-tron infotainment system is based on Android Automotive OS.

Presenting A Garden of Curiosity – an immersive installation cocreated by MINI and Paul Smith for the Salone del Mobile. Set in the historic Palazzo Borromeo d’Adda in Milan, A Garden of Curiosity adds yet another highlight to the rich history the collaborators already share. Connected by their British heritage and iconic designs, the two design houses come together to celebrate optimism, curiosity and innovative spirit. The installation combines Paul Smith’s signature use of colour with the eye for detail for which MINI is renowned and invites visitors to explore and enjoy the playful world of design. 

“Paul Smith and MINI complement one another perfectly, as our collaboration for this project demonstrates once again. We are united by the joy of design, and our shared enthusiasm for craftsmanship, innovation and individuality makes A Garden of Curiosity an experience full of colour, sound and expression,” said Holger Hampf, Head of MINI Design.

Visitors immerse themselves in colour and sound: an experience for all the senses

Set amid the enchanted garden of the Palazzo Borromeo d’Adda, the installation is accessed via a wooden footbridge that takes visitors across the courtyard and through a red door. The door represents a symbolic invitation to look and see. On the other side is the green space created by MINI and Paul Smith. It consists of pathways that are lined with plants and grasses and lead to open platforms and cubic installations. The iconic Paul Smith Signature Stripe runs discreetly through the garden as a recurring design element. Architecture, textures, colour and sound converge to create sensory experiences. 

Interactive theme rooms

The Colour Theory Room acts as a visual intersection between Paul Smith’s signature colour palette and the colours of the new MINI Paul Smith Edition. Visitors can arrange colour samples on an interactive wall, the overall picture changing constantly throughout the day with each new personal design. In keeping with the philosophy of Sir Paul, the wall also gives visitors the opportunity to experiment with colour combinations.  

The Listening Room builds on this experience with Sir Paul’s voice recordings, highlighting the importance of colour theory. Another open platform invites visitors to experience the space with all their senses, allowing them to consciously enjoy a moment away from the hustle and bustle of Milan.

Adding the joy of discovery to the installation, the new MINI Cooper Convertible Paul Smith Edition is waiting to be found and invites visitors to take a closer look. Its appearance and details not only reflect Paul Smith’s distinctive style, but also capture the brand’s playful, optimistic and independent spirit. This exclusive highlight of the installation merges into the charming overall scene.

Heritage meets curiosity

Walking through the courtyard to the installation, visitors are immersed in the history of MINI and Paul Smith. Here, they can explore three cars from the collaboration between the two companies, which stretches back to 1998: the Paul Smith 40th Anniversary Mini, the MINI STRIP by Paul Smith and another MINI Cooper from the latest Edition. The specially created colour Nottingham Green adds stylish accents to the Edition’s mirror caps, octagonal radiator grille and wheel hub covers with Paul Smith lettering. A selection of other details also reflect the distinctive style of Paul Smith and ensure this MINI Edition captures the essence of ‘classic with a twist’. 

The Paul Smith 40th Anniversary Mini: A one-off car from 1999, whose bodywork morphed into a living work of art with 86 stripes in 26 colours. The interior also contained surprising use of colour (e.g. the lime green glove compartment) and highlighted Paul Smith’s playful style.

The MINI STRIP by Paul Smith: Another one-of-a-kind creation, the MINI STRIP of 2021 – based on the MINI Cooper – was reduced to the essentials, as per the principle of ‘less is more’. The minimalist design put the focus on construction and function, with the aim of showcasing a new-at-the-time, responsible approach to design.

The Maserati Classiche programme, established in 2021 and based at the Maserati workshops in Modena, supports customers and collectors in preserving the House of the Trident’s historic cars. Today, the department is an integral part of the BOTTEGAFUORISERIE project of excellence, where technical expertise, historical research and Modenese craftsmanship come together to safeguard the brand’s heritage. Among the services most valued by international clients is the Certificate of Authenticity process, entrusted to a committee of experts who examine each car through an in-depth analysis of its technical features, historical documentation and Maserati archives. The certification applies to vehicles over twenty years old, as well as to the brand’s special models and limited series.

The Origin of Maserati Spyders

The star of the 100th certification is the 3500 GT Vignale Convertible Prototype, developed by Carrozzeria Vignale under the stylistic direction of Giovanni Michelotti. Unveiled at the 1959 Turin Motor Show and built in just five units, it marked Vignale’s first styling exercise for Maserati – a unique project never intended for series production. From this prototype, the celebrated 3500 GT Vignale Convertible took shape, produced in around 250 units between 1959 and 1964 and embodying the elegance and innovation that defined Italian design of the era. This prototype established the archetype of Maserati’s GranCabrio models: cars capable of combining sporting performance, elegance and the pleasure of open-air driving. A concept that would go on to become one of the pillars of Maserati’s identity. Its harmonious proportions, long front bonnet and sleek rear line express the stylistic language of late-1950s Italian automotive design, creating a model that would leave a lasting mark on the brand’s history.

Restoration and certification

Built in Modena in the late 1950s, the car underwent a meticulous restoration between 2023 and 2026, carried out in the very city where it was born and with the direct support of Maserati Classiche. The work included a thorough verification process of the car’s original features, based on an analysis of Maserati’s historical archives and the involvement of the brand’s specialists. This restoration made it possible to return the car to the configuration in which it was presented at the 1959 Turin Motor Show, preserving its historical and technical authenticity. The restored and certified 3500 GT Vignale Convertible prototype fully embodies the mission of Maserati Classiche: to safeguard and pass on a heritage shaped by engineering excellence, Italian design and Modenese artisanal tradition.

Vignale identity and Maserati engineering

One of the car’s most distinctive elements is its colour scheme, which directly recalls the identity of Carrozzeria Vignale. The silver bodywork is paired with a cabin featuring ivory and red interiors, blue carpets and refined gold details. A combination that echoes the colour palette of the Vignale logo and transforms the car into a true three-dimensional interpretation of the emblem of the Turin-based coachbuilder. Beneath the bonnet of the 3500 GT Vignale Convertible prototype lies Maserati’s renowned 3,485 cc inline six-cylinder engine, fed by Weber carburettors and capable of delivering 235 hp at 5,500 rpm. The engine is paired with a four-speed ZF manual gearbox. The technical configuration includes front double wishbone suspension, a rigid rear axle with longitudinal leaf springs, and the iconic Borrani wire wheels. This layout allowed the car to reach a top speed of around 235 km/h, embodying the philosophy of Maserati grand-touring philosophy of the era.

From the origins to the GranCabrio

The 3500 GT Vignale Convertible prototype represents the starting point of Maserati’s convertible granturismo tradition. In the 1960s, these cars were also conceived for international markets, particularly the United States, where demand for Italian luxury sports cars was growing rapidly. Today, that same spirit lives on in the brand’s modern convertibles: from the 3500 GT Convertible of 1959 to the current GranCabrio, Maserati has continued to reinterpret the concept of the convertible granturismo. The proportions and vision embodied by this prototype defined a stylistic formula that would go on to become one of the most recognisable expressions of Maserati’s identity.

For the first time, Porsche is introducing a 911 GT3 with a fully automatic convertible roof. The 911 GT3 S/C, designed especially with driving pleasure in mind, combines the lightweight design of the 911 S/T with the naturally aspirated 4.0-litre boxer engine of the 911 GT3, producing 375 kW (510 PS) and 450 Nm of torque. The distinctive wings and doors of the 911 S/T in combination with the black windscreen surround give the new 911 GT3 S/C an unmistakable look.

In line with its positioning as a driver’s car, this special model is available exclusively with a lightweight short-ratio six-speed manual sports transmission. The 911 GT3 S/C is the only open-top variant in the current 911 range that is designed as a pure two-seater – reminiscent of the 911 Speedster from 2019. Unlike the Speedster, however, the 911 GT3 S/C is not a limited-edition model. The new Street Style Package is also available for the 911 GT3 S/C, which allows the vehicle to be tailored even more precisely to individual tastes.

According to Frank Moser, Head of the 911 and 718 model series, the new 911 GT3 S/C caters to customers’ demand for sports cars that are particularly focused on driving pleasure: “The emotive powertrain of the 911 GT3 comes into its own even more emphatically when driving with the roof down on winding country roads. This is particularly down to managing to keep the weight of the 911 GT3 S/C down to just 1,497 kilograms, despite the fully automatic soft top. That is only about 30 kg more than the 991-generation 911 Speedster.”

Thorough lightweight design for maximum driving pleasure

The combination of particularly lightweight and high-quality materials ensures that the 911 GT3 S/C shines with the characteristic agility of Porsche GT models. The lightweight body components carried over from the 911 S/T are recognisable, even at first glance. The bonnet, wings and doors are made of carbon fibre. The carbon-fibre anti-roll bars and shear plate are also carried over from the fixed-head 911 S/T. The brakes and wheels also follow the S/T lightweight formula: the PCCB braking system, which is more than 20 kg lighter than the cast iron brakes, is fitted as standard. The centre-lock wheels, measuring 20 inches in diameter on the front axle and 21 inches at the rear, also from the 911 S/T, are made of lightweight magnesium. This saves around nine kilograms of rotating mass. Magnesium is also used in the fully automatic cabriolet roof of the 911 GT3 S/C. A lightweight and compact 40 Ah lithium-ion battery further contributes to the car’s impressively low weight, saving about four kg compared to a conventional battery.

Sporty and elegant interior

The interior features lightweight carpets and lightweight door panels with carbon-fibre pull handles – further design features carried over from the 911 S/T. The 911 GT3 S/C is built as a two-seater, with four-way adjustable Sports Seats Plus fitted as standard. Lightweight sports bucket seats with folding backrests and seat shells made of carbon fibre are optionally available for the 911 GT3 S/C. The folding bucket seat is equipped with an integrated thorax airbag, electric height adjustment and manual longitudinal adjustment. Three-stage seat heating can also be ordered as an option. The interior is upholstered in black leather as standard – including the sun visors and the A-pillar trim. The GT3 S/C logo is embroidered in the centre of the rear bulkhead trim. The seat centre panels are finished in perforated leather.

As with the 911 S/T, the steering wheel is also upholstered in perforated leather. Just like the current fixed-head 911 GT3, the 911 GT3 S/C is started not with the push of a button but with a rotary ignition switch to the left of the steering wheel. The digital instrument cluster supports the driver with a clearly structured display and operating concept. The ‘Track Screen’ display mode reduces the digital displays on the left and right of the rev counter to essential data on tyres, oil, coolant and fuel. Shift lights on the left and right of the rev counter indicate the optimal moment to change gear. If desired, the display can be rotated so that the rev limit of 9,000 rpm is positioned at the 12 o’clock mark.

Magnesium ribs in fully automatic cabriolet top

Because the 911 GT3 S/C, unlike its 911 Speedster ancestor, is not adorned with a double-bubble rear cover, the fully automatic lightweight roof from the current 911 model series could be installed instead of a manual soft top. Thanks to the innovative use of magnesium ribs, a coupé-like roofline is achieved when the fabric roof is in its closed position. With almost identical contours, the fabric roof stretches in an elegant arc from windscreen frame to roof stowage compartment lid. No structural elements are visible beneath the fabric, nor are there any sections that interrupt the flowing design of the characteristic 911 flyline. This also brings aerodynamic advantages.

Unmistakable appearance

Matching the black roof, the windscreen frame is finished in black film, giving the 911 GT3 S/C its distinctive look, and the stone-chip protection film on the side panel features a matt-black finish. The matrix LED headlights combine all front lighting functions, making it possible to omit the additional light units previously found in the front bumper. This allows for a significantly larger area for the air intake – and a more clearly structured appearance. For the first time on a 911 with a convertible roof, the retractable rear spoiler is adorned with a Gurney flap, as found on the 911 S/T and the 911 GT3 with Touring Package. The front spoiler lip and rear diffuser are carried over from the current 911 GT3.

Street Style Package for a distinctive visual identity

Porsche Exclusive Manufaktur offers the optional Street Style Package for the new 911 GT3 S/C. The eye-catching decorative graphics on the front wings and the ‘PORSCHE’ lettering on the sides of the vehicle are in the colour Pyro Red.

At the front, the tinted HD-Matrix headlights and body-coloured airblades provide striking accents.

Inside, the Adaptive Sports Seats Plus catch the eye with an embroidered outline of the Porsche crest. The seat centre panels are upholstered in four-tone braided leather in Slate Grey, Guards Red, Magnesium Grey and Kalahari. This intricately produced material is also found in the glove box. In addition, the interior is almost completely upholstered with two-tone leather in Slate Grey and Guards Red. The contrasting decorative stitching, door handle loops, seat handles and seatbelts are also all finished in Guards Red. The steering column trim, the seat console, the inner sill trim and the fuse box cover are trimmed in leather – as are the air vents, including the slats. The floor mats also feature leather edging. The sun visors, interior mirror console and windscreen frame, as well as the convertible roof headliner, are upholstered in perforated Slate Grey Race-Tex.

A special visual and tactile highlight is the darkened gear lever with its open-pore laminated wood gear knob and shift pattern displayed in Pyro Red. The ‘GT3 S/C’ badge beneath the gear lever, the accent strips in the dash panel and the ‘911’ badge fitted on the passenger side are also finished in Pyro Red. In addition, Porsche Design offers accessories that complement the Street Style Package.

As the first all-electric luxury saloon from Mercedes‑Benz, the EQS has been pioneering technology since 2021. Next-level travel: The new EQS 450+ sets a new benchmark in electric mobility with a WLTP range of 926 km1 – an increase of 13 per cent compared with its already long-legged predecessor. Based on calculated figures and WLTP consumption, the available energy is sufficient, for example, for the route from Munich to Paris or the trip from Zurich to Hamburg.

Range boost: 800‑volt technology enables ultra-fast charging: up to 350 kW adds 320 km of range in 10 minutes (WLTP)2, while at 400‑volt stations the battery splits virtually to charge at up to 175 kW efficiently.

Energy boost when braking: Recuperation power of up to 385 kW dramatically increases efficiency. This leap in efficiency returns even more energy during braking.

A completely new steering feel: Mercedes‑Benz will be the first German car manufacturer to offer a series-production car with steer-by-wire technology: just a few months after its market launch, the new EQS will be available with this technology. New-generation driver assistance: Powerful computer architecture using up to 27 sensors ensures top-level safety and support. MB.DRIVE PARKING ASSIST now detects spaces more effectively, enables diagonal parking, and parks automatically at up to 5 km/h – around 60  per cent faster than before.

Supercomputer with AI: The Mercedes‑Benz Operating System (MB.OS) makes the new model the most intelligent EQS ever. MB.OS integrates and controls every aspect of the vehicle and keeps it up to date with over-the-air (OTA) updates. The new MBUX generation also integrates artificial intelligence (AI). The MBUX Virtual Assistant can conduct complex dialogues, while various avatars ensure even more personal interaction.

Display concept with “wow” effect: The standard MBUX Hyperscreen merges the active zones of the three displays beneath a single, continuous glass surface, measuring over 55 inches.

Although the condition of this 1972 911 S/T today could certainly be described as perfect, its orangey‑red paintwork didn’t quite survive its rich racing history unscathed. Between 1973 and 1978, the car competed in the Camel GT Challenge on some of the most legendary circuits in North America: Sebring, Daytona, Indianapolis and many more. The details of a total of 27 race entries can be found in the archives for this Phoenix Red 911 S/T.

Colourful racing history

The 911 RSR, which was supplied from the factory prepared for racing, was difficult to get hold of in the early 1970s. That’s why Canadian team Equipe de Course Marc Dancose opted for a standard 911 S/T, which was then further optimised for racing by the renowned Brumos Racing team. Some of these modifications were particularly noticeable, with several solutions that were as distinctive as they were functional; for example, while the model’s standard wheels were retained on the front, Brumos fitted wider wheels – with a totally different design – at the rear. Brumos finished the bodywork in eye-catching Phoenix Red paint. As dazzling as the car’s colour and racing history may be, the Dancose 911’s competitive career came to an abrupt end in 1978 following a racing incident. Its final outing was cut short after a third-lap crash at the Trois‑Rivières circuit in the province of Québec.

Despite its misfortune, the Phoenix Red 911 S/T lived up to the name of its paint colour. Many years later, in its new home in a Swiss car collection, this special car was resurrected – like a phoenix rising from the ashes. But that’s not all. For its current owner, this special car also became the inspiration for a new one-off 911 S/T commissioned through the Porsche Sonderwunsch programme. The aim was not to simply produce a copy of the classic 911 S/T but to create an artistic reinterpretation.

An eye for the extraordinary

Through the course of this project, the experts in the Porsche Sonderwunsch department once again demonstrated their keen eye for detail. Just as with the 911 S/T built in 1972, the original Signal Yellow paintwork on the 2025 S/T is now visible only on selected parts of the car – most notably on the front bumper. The majority of the bodywork is finished in gleaming Phoenix Red. The period‑correct sponsor decals from the Camel GT Challenge weren’t carried over to this contemporary 911 S/T. Instead, designer Grant Larson – who was responsible, among other projects, for the Carrera GT and the first‑generation Boxster – played with the base tones of Phoenix Red and Signal Yellow to create a flowing colour pattern that was painstakingly applied by hand.

A look back

Of course, the motorsport history of the original car from the 1970s found its way into the Sonderwunsch one‑off. The Camel GT Challenge was a series for sports cars and prototypes organised by the International Motor Sports Association (IMSA), held from 1971 on circuits across the US and Canada. The races ranged from short sprint events to endurance races lasting up to 24 hours. From the second season in 1972 onwards, the tobacco company Camel became the title sponsor.

As ubiquitous as tobacco advertising was in the 1970s, the topic is a little taboo when it comes to a Sonderwunsch model made in 2025. Nevertheless, the iconic camel – along with outlines of the racetracks of Sebring, Daytona, Indianapolis and Lime Rock Park – found its way into the 911 S/T in several delicately crafted details: on the bespoke embroidered headrests, the interior trim pieces and the door sills, as well as in the embossed motif on the lid of the storage compartment in the centre console. The logo projector in the doors also illuminates the ground with an image of the iconic camel at the wheel of a racing car. The camel has, however, kicked the smoking habit.

Intentional asymmetry

The Sonderwunsch team has also incorporated the visual asymmetry of the wheels into the design of the new reinterpretation. On the rear wheels of the new one‑off, the Manthey Racing aerodiscs developed for the GT3 RS are used – only when stationary, however, as these parts are not officially homologated for the 911 S/T. The Aero Discs can simply be removed for driving on the public road.

As with all Sonderwunsch creations, every modification meets the high-quality standards that all Porsche cars are required to fulfil. This unique 911 S/T is perfectly suitable for everyday road use as well as for the racetrack. The numerous fine detailed features – some of which aren’t immediately noticeable at first glance, including the intricate paintwork – have all been applied with exceptional craftsmanship. Together, they make the S/T not only a striking one‑off but also a perfect example to showcase the possibilities of the Porsche Sonderwunsch programme – even the revival of historic colours like Phoenix Red.

International tours, ARIA awards and ten albums – one solo, five with his sister Julia and four with his own project, Dope Lemon – remind us that his talents run as wide as the pure crystal beaches of Byron Bay, his home town. But there is something his fans might be surprised to discover.

Where his music story begins

“I collect nautical history,” he says, pulling up in the Taycan 4S Cross Turismo at Sugar Cane Mountain Studios, his creative home base. “I have intricate models of ships as well as old wheels and anchors. They all hold these wonderful stories.” And the source of this fascination? “My parents. They were sailors.”

They are also the origin of his deep insight and creativity. Angus’s mother was a marine biologist and his father an English teacher – and a wedding singer – and this is where his music story begins. “As kids, my sister Julia and I grew up falling asleep under wedding tables. Listening to dad’s band rehearse cover songs every week made us both dive into music.”

Today, he’s influenced by other sources. “I’ve become more inspired by film. It’s so alluring and magical, everything that I want a song to be. I’ll watch a film and it’ll send me off into another world. I love the Cohen brothers, Wes Anderson and David Lynch.”

Another creative path

Before music, Angus was on another creative path with a different medium. But instead of taking him away from music, it pushed him closer. “I started an apprenticeship in carpentry. I’d think about writing and music all day. Having this kind of rub is essential to being creative and that’s how I figured out what I wanted to do in life.”

It also confirmed his creative philosophy, which he says is all about proof of concept. Like creating with a tangible medium, “You need to see something through to finality otherwise you’ll never know its potential.” It’s the approach behind many of his memorable songs, including For You, Chateau and Big Jet Plane, which he recorded with his sister, Julia.

Their effects have been powerful. “A complete stranger will come up to me in the street and tell me how one of my songs has connected with them at a certain time in their life. It’s a reminder that this really is a beautiful art form.”

Connections play a big role in Angus’s art. “When I travel, I ask my tour manager to draw me a map of local vintage clothing stores and antique shops. I’ll go on these small journeys and find cool things.

“I was in this little shop in Topanga Canyon and there was this dusty guitar. I got talking with the guy and he had this wonderful life with this instrument,” he says, strumming its strings. “It gave the guitar a whole new being and it still tells me stories each time I pick it up. “I used it when I recorded a song called Broken Brights.”

It’s all part of Angus’s creative process, which can involve simply scribbling down thoughts during the day and later taking them into his studio. “On other days it’ll be the music that tells me where to go with a song. It can feel like a thousand-piece puzzle. You can see the completed picture in your mind, but you need to assemble it.”

He says putting it together is like releasing a bottleneck of feelings, adding, “I think it is the closest you’ll ever get to knowing me.”

Touring the world lets him share these feelings on stage. Choosing a favourite destination is impossible, he says, but one stands out. “French audiences are passionate and observant; the Swiss are beautiful like the fans in Australia and New Zealand, and playing in the United States is cool, but I really like playing to German crowds.

A Date at the Porsche Museum

“I was in Stuttgart recently and took a date with me to the Porsche Museum. Studying all of those classic sportscars reminded me it takes time to cut your own record, which Porsche has certainly achieved. “Amongst the obvious evolution, that classic Porsche flyline remains true,” he says, tracing an arc along the Taycan’s silhouette. “It just gets better with age. It’s the same authenticity that powerful songs express.”

For Angus, driving the Taycan might be “like putting your head down on a silky pillow,” but its place amongst the classics is already set, for the same reason great music becomes timeless. “It’s because they all hold these wonderful stories.”

The core Bentayga is already known for its breadth of abilities, offering incredible performance, luxurious comfort and refinement and off-road capability. From there, the Bentayga Speed focuses on maximum dynamic ability and outright speed, while the Bentayga Extended Wheelbase concentrates on rear-seat luxury and wellbeing. The Bentayga X Concept now focuses on the third area of Bentayga capability, and has the potential to provide an even greater off-road experience.

The concept is based on a Bentayga Speed, with a 650 PS 4.0-litre twin turbo V8 engine, with permanent four-wheel drive and an eight-speed transmission. Air suspension is complemented by Bentley Dynamic Ride, Bentley’s 48V electric active anti-roll control system.

However, the stance and presence have significantly changed with forged single piece 22” wheel rims, created by specialists Brixton, with large aspect ratio off-road tyres. The track width has increased by 120mm to enhance stability, and the ride height has been increased by 55 mm, for maximised suspension travel and ground clearance. To accommodate these changes the wheel arches have also moved outboard by 40 mm. The changes lead to a wading depth of over 550 mm and a ground clearance of just under 310 mm.

The exterior appearance of the Bentayga X Concept has been kept functional, with roof-mounted storage and four spotlights to enable longer off-road adventures. In the case of the concept, an electric Bambino-size Go Kart (as used in the FAT Karting League) demonstrates the additional cargo ability. These roof additions bring the overall height of the Bentayga X Concept to 2.49 metres. To the rear of the car the titanium sports exhaust from Akrapovic remains prominent, along with the addition of twin towing eyes at the front.

An Exhibition of Bentleys

The FAT Ice Race is a festival celebrating cars and their status in culture, uniting those who share passion for automotive excellence now and in the future. This unique racing event features various classes, including the distinctive mixed class of Skijöring and exhibitions showcasing rare and exotic cars. Bentley’s significant presence at the FAT Ice Race in Zell am See marks the start of a multi-year partnership, which will also see Bentley take cars to the upcoming FAT Ice Race in Big Sky, Montana at the end of February and a 24-hour takeover over FAT Mankei in Austria later this year.

Joining the Bentayga X Concept will be some of Bentley’s latest and boldest cars. Straight from the launch of Supersports: FULL SEND in Dubai, Travis Pastrana’s unique livery Supersports will be on display, with the newly announced Continental GTC S. The coupe sibling Continental GT S will also be shown dynamically on the ice in a global debut, along with a Bentayga Speed and Speed Six Continuations Series Car Zero from Mulliner.

Driving the Bentayga Speed in the Skijöring event will be car culture icon and broadcaster, Chris Harris, who will be towing Norwegian freestyle skier, Hedvig Wessel. The Continental GT S will be piloted by French racing driver Laura Villars, while the Speed Six will be driven by the head of Bentley’s Heritage Collection, Mike Sayer.
