Above all, watches were instruments of precision and markers of refinement, designed to sit discreetly on the wrist. Men’s watches typically measured between 30 and 34 mm, reflecting ideals of elegance and proportion, while women’s timepieces were often conceived as intimate, jewellery-like creations, sometimes even smaller. The Reverso, created in 1931, embodies this philosophy. Its rectangular case, born from a functional brief, naturally lent itself to compact dimensions, becoming a canvas for both masculine sophistication and feminine expression. Over time, evolving lifestyles and aesthetics led to a gradual increase in watch sizes, favouring a stronger presence on the wrist. Offered in steel or 18k pink gold (750/1000), the Reverso Classic Small Duetto features a subtly modernised dial with new tone-on-tone applied numerals and ‘JL’ logo creating a harmonious and nuanced three-dimensional effect. The reverse dial also gains a sleeker and more contemporary look: the absence of numerals for 12 and 6 amplifies the sunrayed effect of the circular centre, while applied ‘double sunray’ indexes reinforce the pattern of the guilloché outer section. Underlining the Maison’s commitment to craftsmanship, more than 20 steps are required to create the two dials. While the Reverso Duetto traditionally features diamond-set gadroons on the reverse side of the case only, a new ‘Double Set’ option in steel is set with brilliant-cut diamonds on both sides of the case.

The Reverso Classic Small Duetto is offered with a strap package comprising a blue alligator strap and a steel bracelet (steel case) and a taupe alligator strap and 18k pink gold bracelet (pink gold case). All models feature Jaeger-LeCoultre’s signature interchangeability system, enabling an effortless and rapid change of style with fingertip operation.

Introduced in 2025, the Reverso Classic Monoface ‘Origin’ pays homage to the proportions and aesthetics of the first feminine Reverso, created in 1931. A new interpretation features diamond-set gadroons, enhancing the play of light on the dial finishes and case. Presented in a steel case, with the option of a blue alligator strap or polished steel bracelet, it features the unique attribute of all Monoface models: a blank metal caseback that can be personalised with engraving or lacquer. For 2026, the Reverso Tribute Duoface Small Seconds has been reinterpreted with smaller case dimensions of 42.9 mm x 25.5 mm, creating a new ‘medium’ size that is closer to the original Duoface models of 1994. With this return to a classical size, the silvered-coloured opaline front dial is complemented by a blue-grey reverse dial that displays the second time zone – a colour new to the Duoface line that is enhanced by sunray satin-brushing and the polished steel of the case. Fitted with the manually wound Calibre 854, the Reverso Tribute Duoface Small Seconds is presented with a black calfskin, designed by Casa Fagliano, featuring Jaeger-LeCoultre’s signature interchangeability system for an effortless change of style.

Enhanced Reliability and Precision

Among the 1,400 calibres designed and produced in-house by the Manufacture Jaeger-LeCoultre since 1833, many have achieved notable longevity, thanks to their reliability and precision. However, even on these ‘pillar’ movements, the Manufacture’s engineers are constantly making improvements in a quest for enhanced performance.

The new versions of Calibre 846 – fitted in the Reverso Classic Small Monoface – and Calibre 844 in the Reverso Classic Small Duetto represent a total of 16 changes to the mechanisms. Among them, a new silicon escapement increases the movement’s efficiency by reducing friction, while also enhancing robustness and precision by reducing the negative impact of magnetism. With an increase in the barrel diameter – achieved without increasing the overall size of the calibre – power reserves have increased from 38 hours to 50 hours.

The latest versions of these four emblematic Reverso models perfectly represent Jaeger-LeCoultre’s commitment to safeguarding the collection’s unmistakable identity, evolving in new aesthetic directions that keep it eternally modern and constantly improving mechanical performance and precision.

The 911 GT3 S/C is defined by its ultimate motorsport spirit, perfectly balanced with everyday practicality. With stick shift and a high-revving engine, it combines maximum dynamics with endless fun-to-drive. Its high-revving, naturally aspirated engine and uncompromising lightweight design make the 911 GT3 S/C the lightest, most dynamic open 911, embodying pure motorsport DNA on track and street alike. Its horological twin: the 911 GT3 S/C Chronograph. Born from a joint development with the car, the two are inseparably linked.

Consistent lightweight construction

Lightweight construction does not automatically mean minimalism. True to the 911 GT3 S/C, the accompanying chronograph embodies Porsche’s distinctive approach to lightweight design: the case and pushers are available in either glass bead-blasted titanium or titanium with black titanium carbide coating. The same applies to the bezel, which is available with a pulsometer, tachymeter or minute scale.

Motorsport design for the wrist with customisation options

A distinctive design feature is the GT dial, developed specifically for the 911 GT3 chronograph, with its characteristic hexagonal pattern that echoes the hexagonal air intakes on the car. The GT dial and the optionally available “RS” dial in a carbon-like look also echo the lightweight design aesthetic. Both versions are protected by a sapphire crystal with sevenfold anti-reflective coating on both sides and a highly scratch-resistant hard coating. The clean design of the indices, a yellow ring, and black rhodium-plated hour and minute hands with Super-LumiNova® coating ensure optimal readability. This design is echoed on the 911 GT3 S/C’s instrument panel, as the Sport Chrono GT module—developed by Porsche Design for the Porsche GT models—mirrors the chronograph’s aesthetic. The look of the tachometer and the sporty totaliser at 6 o’clock are also perfectly aligned. The chronograph hands are available in Performance (white), Essence (black), and GT (yellow). Matching the vehicle paint, the colour ring around the dial is available in all 911 GT3 S/C exterior colours as well as the shades from the “Paint to Sample” programme. The case back, made of sevenfold anti-reflective, hard-coated sapphire crystal, reveals the Porsche Design calibre WERK 01.200 with COSC certification and flyback function. It allows a running timing measurement to be stopped, reset and restarted instantly at the push of a button. The standout feature, both technically and visually, is the “911 GT3 S/C Rotor”, precisely modelled on the car’s wheel design and available in Brilliant Silver, Dark Silver, California Gold, and Black (satin finish). It is completed with the black rotor cap with the two-tone Porsche crest. The arch housing the sapphire crystal is crafted from glass bead-blasted titanium or titanium with a black titanium carbide coating and can be personalised with a laser engraving of up to twelve characters. Owners of the 911 GT3 S/C with the Street Style Package are furthermore entitled to exclusive, specially designed highlights. The Package embodies a look that stands out from the norm, distinguished by the sleek, contemporary pared-down contour of the Porsche crest. In Pyro Red, it not only gives the wheel hub covers a distinctive touch but also enhances the chronograph’s rotor cap.

Personalisation with character

The strap also offers a variety of options for personalisation. Made from genuine Porsche vehicle leather and stitching, it can be customised to match the configuration of the car’s interior. An optional “GT3” embossing at 6 o’clock reinforces the link between the sports car and the timepiece. The calfskin leather straps with a double-folding titanium clasp (matching the case finish) are available in three sizes and can be easily exchanged thanks to the quick-change mechanism. Manufacture Calibres Now Powering the Royal Line

The Royal line is now powered by TUDOR Manufacture Calibres, complete with the finish typical of these high-performance movements; their rotors in tungsten monobloc are openworked and satin-brushed with sand-blasted details, and their bridges and mainplate have alternating sand-blasted, polished surfaces and laser decorations.

Their build is designed to ensure robustness and precision. To do this, their variable inertia balance wheel is maintained by a sturdy traversing bridge with a two-point anchoring. This system, together with non-magnetic silicon hairsprings, enables the Manufacture Calibres MT5412 and MT5633 to function within a tolerance range of 6 seconds (-2/+4) and 8 seconds (-3/+5) for the small diameter Manufacture Calibre MT5201, in all cases tested on fully assembled watches.

Another notable feature is that the power reserve of the Manufacture Calibres MT5412 and MT5633 are “weekend-proof”; that is to say, they have a 70-hour power reserve (50 hours for the MT5201), which enables the wearer to take the watch off on a Friday evening and put it back on again on Monday morning without having to wind it. Even if you need a weekend away, your watch does not.

The Tudor Manufacture

Every TUDOR watch is assembled and fully tested to TUDOR’s superior standards at the new TUDOR Manufacture located in Le Locle, Switzerland. This new state-of-the-art facility, bringing together the know-how of watchmakers with the best in production management and automated testing systems, was completed in 2021 after three years of construction. All decked out in TUDOR red, the Manufacture spans over four levels totalling 5,500 square meters and is physically and visually connected to the neighbouring Kenissi Manufacture, the TUDOR movement production facility founded in 2016. With Kenissi and a network of TUDOR-owned affiliates, the brand has been able to integrate the development and production of high-performance mechanical calibres. Maserati and Bianchet, the Neuchâtel-based Swiss maison of haute horlogerie, announce a special collaboration in the name of the philosophy they have always shared: passion for beauty that never gives in to compromises, mechanical rigour and artisan tradition, all expressed through balance and precision. To mark the centenary of the iconic Trident emblem inspired by Bologna’s Fountain of Neptune – which made its first appearance on the Tipo 26 when it came in victorious at the Targa Florio – Maserati and Bianchet present UltraFino Maserati, the Flying Tourbillon watch available in a limited collection of 100 one-of-a-kind timepieces, unveiled at the Watches and Wonders 2026 trade fair in Geneva.

A Meeting of Two Philosophies

The convergence of Maserati and Bianchet serves as the natural, inevitable union of two trajectories that have long run in parallel.

Founded in Bologna in 1914 and now headquartered for over 80 years in Modena, Maserati translates racing passion into cars that embody performance, comfort and typically Italian style. The Nettuno V6 engine, an in-house development featuring an innovative pre-chamber combustion system with dual spark plugs drawing directly from Formula 1 technology, epitomises the brand’s vision: extreme performance and refined elegance.

Bianchet – rooted in Neuchâtel and with its manufacturing base in La Chaux-de-Fonds, the cradle of Swiss haute horlogerie – has embraced a similar and equally rigorous vision since its foundation. Its approach is governed not only by engineering ambition but also by explicit aesthetics: each timepiece is designed in accordance with the principles of the Golden Ratio, so that beauty and proportion become structural, intrinsic qualities of the piece. A philosophy in which function follows form and in which the architecture of the movement satisfies the eye as much as it does its designers.

UltraFino Maserati is therefore the meeting point of these two philosophies: a perfect balance between form and function.

Mcpura and Ultrafino: Two Objects, One Soul

The UltraFino Maserati design draws its inspiration from the Maserati MCPURA: the brand’s latest supercar, unveiled at the 2025 Goodwood Festival of Speed and made in Modena. Powered by a 630-hp twin-turbocharged 3.0-litre Nettuno V6 and built around a carbon-fibre monocoque, Maserati MCPURA can achieve 0-100 km/h in under 2.9 seconds, a figure that speaks less of brute force than of the mastery of weight, balance and material science. Thanks to a its lightweight construction and meticulous hand-finishing at the Viale Ciro Menotti plant, Maserati MCPURA is the expression of engineering as a form of art. A car that embodies over 100 years of Italian racing heritage and channels it into something contemporary and uncompromising.

The parallels between the watch and supercar are deliberate and precise: the open-worked skeleton dial of UltraFino Maserati takes its visual language from the birdcage-design wheel architecture of MCPURA, with its iconic triple split-spoke design forming a trident motif. The AI Aqua Rainbow finish, which made its debut on MCPURA at Goodwood and belongs to Maserati’s Fuoriserie Collezione Futura programme, infuses the watch dial and runs as a signature accent along the rubber seam of the case, creating the same prismatic depth on the wrist that the car achieves at road speed. The grade 5 titanium bridges and main plate, the high-density carbon case and bracelet, all mirror the torsional stiffness of MCPURA’s carbon fibre chassis, while the flying tourbillon cage – open, visible, suspended – evokes the beating heart of the Nettuno engine.

Where the MCPURA relies on its carbon-fibre chassis to ensure high levels of torsional rigidity whilst absorbing the demands of the road, UltraFino Maserati addresses the equivalent challenge of shock in mechanical watchmaking. Dedicated shock-absorbing solutions have been integrated at both the balance wheel and structural levels, enabling the movement to withstand forces of 5,000 G, an exceptional specification that draws a direct parallel with MCPURA’s suspension engineering and electronic traction management.

Where Engineering Meets Design

The beating heart of UltraFino Maserati is the Bianchet UT01 calibre. Entirely finished by hand: sand-blasted, satin-brushed and polished, with hand-bevelling on every bridge, on the main plate and on the tourbillon cage, the UT01 calibre represents a series of original engineering decisions, each made at the service of a challenging thin profile of 3.85 mm. The suspended mainspring barrel eliminates the traditional ratchet wheel, recovering vertical space while delivering a 60-hour power reserve. A 2.66-mm thin tourbillon cage houses a large screw balance wheel with variable inertia, beating at 3 Hz, which preserves both the visual presence of a generous escapement and the functional safety margins demanded by a wearable instrument. A bespoke winding and time-setting architecture reduces friction and refines energy transfer throughout the gear train.

The result is a movement of 225 components and 29 jewels, finished entirely by hand, within a total case height of 9.9 mm. The case is constructed in high-density carbon fibre with vulcanised rubber, and the hand-finished crown is protected by integrated carbon crown-guards. Both the bezel and case-back are fitted with glare-proof sapphire crystal. Water resistance is also guaranteed up to 5 ATM. Two straps have been imagined for UltraFino Maserati: an integrated high-density carbon-fibre bracelet, and a natural vulcanised rubber strap with a titanium folding clasp. The timepiece weighs 36 g without the strap, with every detail reflecting the rigour that defines this work of haute horlogerie.

A Limited Edition of 100 Pieces

UltraFino Maserati is presented in a limited of 100 timepieces, a number chosen to echo the centenary of the Maserati Trident. Each piece is individually numbered and produced at Bianchet’s atelier in La Chaux-de-Fonds to the standard of hand-finishing and precision that defines the brand.
