ALIFE’s Inaugural Gala Night Shines Spotlight on Malaysia’s Live Entertainment Industry

The Arts, Live Festival and Events Association (ALIFE) proudly introduced its inaugural Gala Night, themed “Where the Stars Align,” marking a milestone celebration dedicated to recognising the individuals and collaborations shaping Malaysia’s live entertainment industry.

Officiated by Minister of Communications, Datuk Fahmi Fadzil, the event was held at the prestigious Berjaya Times Square Ballroom. The evening brought together an esteemed gathering of industry leaders, concert promoters, festival organisers, venue operators, production companies, corporate partners, media representatives and government officials.

Among the notable attendees were Minister of Federal Territories YB Hannah Yeoh Tseow Suan, Malaysian National News Agency (Bernama) Chairman Datuk Seri Wong Chun Wai, Bernama Chief Executive Officer Datin Paduka Nur-ul Afida Kamaludin and Chairman of ALIFE Dato’ Alan Foo Ming Lam, alongside key stakeholders who continue to play a pivotal role in shaping the nation’s entertainment landscape.

The evening began with a red-carpet welcome, followed by an exclusive pre-dinner networking session that encouraged meaningful engagement between industry professionals and government representatives. Guests were then treated to a premium gala dinner, elevated by curated performances that set a refined and celebratory tone.

A key highlight of the night was the ALIFE Industry Recognition & Memento Presentation, which paid tribute to individuals and organisations for their exceptional contributions and lasting impact on the live events sector.
