The new Eyewear by David Beckham collection for Spring Summer 2022 is both stylish and bold yet remains true to its classic aesthetic. It takes inspiration from iconic movies filmed in Italy and the global icons, both past and present, that featured in them.
This is David’s fourth collection with Safilo, the leaders in design, manufacture and distribution of eyewear. Taking seasonal inspiration from cities that have influenced the style icon, this collection focuses on Italy and captures the feeling and scenery with a series of images portraying a carefree holiday spirit.
The collection continues to present both sunglasses and optical frames made for individuals with a taste for style, but also for those passionate about vintage accessories that are contemporary with a hint of retro. The entire collection is distinguished by its utmost quality and its refined design.
Featuring new styles and also highlighting classic ones, including the signature DB 7000 Bold, this campaign sees David enjoying the best of the Italian riviera from a beautiful Feretti Group yacht. It portrays the concept of ‘The Traveller’ and tells the story of Italy as a travel destination, exploring iconic landmarks of the region.

These new sunglasses celebrate the most iconic style of the collection with a new interpretation featuring bolder volumes of the square shape and distinctive signature details, such as the Talisman detail in metal, discretely visible between the front and the temples and the metal core on the temples.

This new optical frame celebrates the most iconic style of the collection with a new interpretation featuring bolder volumes of the square shape and distinctive signature details, such as the Talisman detail in metal, discretely visible between the front and the temples and the metal core on the temples.
DB 1078/S
Contemporary yet retro, these metal frame sunglasses feature a lightweight half-rim structure with subtly sculpted lenses emphasizing the eye shape. The Talisman detail in metal is discreetly visible between the front and the temples.
