H. Moser & Cie. Journeys Back To 1828

Launched during the 2021 edition of the prestigious Dubai Watch Week, the Heritage Bronze “Since 1828” draws heavily from H. Moser & Cie. history. Paying tribute to a significant period in founder Heinrich Moser’s career on his ascent to becoming one of Russia’s most illustrious watchmakers, it draws inspiration from several historical pieces and some converted pocket watches found in the Moser Family Museum.

The Heritage collection is, without doubt, traditional but with the Heritage Bronze “Since 1828” limited edition, H. Moser & Cie. emphasise this aspect even further. Adorning the sleek fumé dial of this timepiece is the Cyrillic logo occasionally used in the halcyon days of the company’s renowned founder. For the case of this model, the Schaffhausen-based brand uses bronze, a material that changes and evolves over time, developing a patina that imbues the piece with evermore beauty and character as the years go by.

The Heritage Bronze “Since 1828” is powered by the HMC 200 movement, which is conceptualised completely in-house and is visible behind the sapphire case-back. Offering a minimum power reserve of three days and incorporating an automatic winding system that converts the motions of your wrist to energy, the HMC 200 movement focuses on the very basics of time – the hours, minutes, and seconds.

Strikingly minimalistic, elegantly constructed, and eminently historical, the Heritage Bronze “Since 1828” is limited to a scarce 50 pieces.
