The 6-month renovation and upgrading programme focused on repair and maintenance works of 119 accommodation rooms, while 75 rooms, transformed into newly-styled Studio Heritage Rooms.

Studio Heritage Room – A new heritage experience
The 34 sqm newly refurbished Heritage Studio Rooms reveals a nostalgic charm that is uniquely furnished with batik artistry and intricately woven wicker. As you enter the room, you are immediately drawn to the distinct batik composition called ‘Bayam Peraksi’ on the bed’s headboard. Exclusively designed by Gahara, an artisanal batik textile producer in Malaysia, the batik design features vibrant hues, depicting layers of local spinach, ferns and Malay dance hand gestures also known as Mudra. Three primary colour themes are used to represent each room, including Signature Blue, Black Magic and Westchester Gold. The generous cream-tiled bathroom is refreshed with warm natural tones, spacious vanity area, amenities and bathrobes. All bathrooms are fitted with a large rain shower and handheld shower head. The room interiors were coined to offer our guests a glimpse of a traditional Kampung home with modern conveniences.
