The NERF x Reebok Sneakers Are Every ‘90s Kid’s Neon Dreams Come True

Jun 21, 2021 | Fashion

Hasbro and Reebok have gone all out with their latest sneaker team-up, tapping into the nostalgic dreams of every ‘90s kid who grew up with hoop dreams and the ideology that still rings true to this day: it’s “NERF or Nothin.” The ensemble features two colourful iterations of the Pump Omni Zone II, a Kamikaze II and a Kamikaze II Low.

First up are the Pump Omni Zone IIs, offered in two colourways. The “Light Jammers” boast a glow-in-the dark upper and outsole, with nods to the retro light-up NERF Sports Nerfoop design while, the “Big Bad Backboard” sport graphic splatter print on vamp and collar inspired by NERF archive. Both feature custom graphic sock liner and packaging inspired by legendary Nerfoop.

Both the Kamikaze II and Kamikaze II Low pay homage to one of the most explosive dunkers of all time, Shawn Kemp. The two “Backboard Breaker” versions too offer two colorways with vibrant colours that scream neon fun, a NERF embroidered logo on the forefoot, and custom graphic sock liner illustration and packaging inspired by Shawn Kemp. All four kicks are finished off with “NERF or Nothin” lace tips.
