After years of anticipation, legendary K-pop group BIGBANG is officially returning to the global stage with a massive world tour in celebration of their 20th anniversary, marking one of the most significant comebacks in recent music history. The reunion sees G-Dragon, Taeyang and Daesung joining forces once again, bringing fans a long-awaited opportunity to witness the trio perform together on a worldwide scale.

According to Billboard, the tour will encompass 31 stadium shows across Asia, North America and Europe, reaffirming BIGBANG’s enduring influence as one of K-pop’s most celebrated acts. The group is set to kick off the tour in August 2026, following their appearance at Coachella earlier this year, which served as a symbolic prelude to their grand return.

Malaysian V.I.Ps have an additional reason to celebrate, with Kuala Lumpur confirmed as one of the Southeast Asian stops. BIGBANG is scheduled to perform in TM National Stadium on January 9, 2027, making it their long-awaited return to Malaysia and one of the most anticipated concerts on the local entertainment calendar.

The announcement has ignited excitement among fans worldwide, many of whom have waited years for the group to reunite after pursuing solo endeavours and navigating mandatory military service. Since their debut in 2006, BIGBANG have played a pivotal role in shaping the global K-pop phenomenon, delivering iconic hits such as Fantastic Baby, Bang Bang Bang, Haru Haru and Blue.

The upcoming tour not only celebrates two decades of music and cultural influence but also signifies a new era for the group. Their previous Alive Galaxy Tour attracted approximately 800,000 fans worldwide and set new benchmarks for Korean artists on the international concert circuit.

With stadiums around the world preparing to welcome one of K-pop’s most influential acts, BIGBANG’s return promises to be more than just a reunion—it is a celebration of a legacy that continues to resonate across generations of music lovers.
