Ice Magic Asia Launches In Vietnam

Ice Magic, the largest touring pop-up winter playground in Asia, has launched in Vietnam, bringing a unique and magical winter experience to the heart of Vietnam, Ho Chi Minh City, at Vinhomes Grand Park. With its soft opening on 6 December 2024 and scheduled to run till early March 2025, Ice Magic: Fantasy on Ice (Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam) promises an enchanting variety of activities and attractions for families, tourists and winter enthusiasts alike.

 

Ice Magic, an IP of Singapore-based Apollo Entertainment Media, sets the gold standard with its cutting-edge Winter Olympics snow technology, hosting the most extensive selection of ice and snow activities available at a single venue. The inaugural Vietnamese edition of Ice Magic follows its tremendous success in other major Asian cities like Singapore and Bangkok, and is co-organised with local partners, ensuring a culturally rich and accessible experience.

At 4,000 sqm with a sub-zero temperature area of 1,800 sqm, the pop-up winter playground features a 60m snow slope and a one-of-its-kind figure-8 double-lane ice slide (110m). Along with an ice rink and hand-crafted ice sculptures, Ice Magic offers unmatched winter thrills and adventure and has been designed to captivate the hearts of young and old.

Features of the pop-up winter playground:

• Snow Playground: Families can enjoy traditional snow games like building snowmen or engaging in a friendly snow dodgeball match, along with the Snow Slope and Ice Slide.
• Ice Sculpture Photo-Ops: Create unforgettable moments against a backdrop of stunning ice sculptures hand-crafted by masters from Harbin. Highlights include a polar bear and penguin cave, miniature figures of beloved characters, a towering 4-metre snowman, Ice Magic mascot Apolla, and other picturesque installations like a traditional tower and photo-op figurines.
• Merry-Go-Round on Ice: Experience the first-ever merry-go-round set on ice.
• Meet Huskies: Interact with adorable huskies on selected weekends, perfect for families and animal lovers.
• Mascots Parade: Watch Ice Magic’s beloved mascot, Apolla, along with other costumed characters, come to life in a lively parade.
